What are Instagram Reels?
If you’re a frequent Instagram user, your feed has probably been flooded with Instagram Reels recently. The Reels are fun, engaging, & shareable 60-second video clips that are set to music and appear in the Feed, Reels tab, and Explore page.
Some benefits of using Instagram Reels include reaching a large audience, higher engagement, and ultimate visibility, all while allowing you to display your property’s unique personality.
The Do’s and Don’ts of Instagram Reels
When starting with Instagram Reels, don’t be afraid to show off your brand’s personality. Use creative tools like text, filters, or camera effects. Always use music from the Instagram library or from the original audio you create. Additionally, use a descriptive caption and hashtags to reach an even larger audience. Some of our favorite beginner-friendly apps include Splice, InShot, VideoLeap, and Beatleap. Avoid using low-resolution or blurry videos, video borders, excessive texts, watermarks, and any music that isn’t from the Instagram library, your original audio, or music you’ve obtained a license for.
