How to Create an Instagram Post on Canva
Once you log onto your Canva account, you’re going to click on the search bar where you’ll find templates, cards, posters, animated social media, Instagram stories, and more. Click on the top right and get started on your design.
The Instagram post template is already sized & scaled to be able to be published on the Instagram app, so you don’t have to edit anything. At the sidebar, you’ll find an impressive selection of templates to choose from. Pick any that catches your eye, or feel free to start blank and then add all of your branding assets from your computer.
Some elements you’ll find are lines, shapes, graphics, stickers with motion, and even some stock videos that you can utilize. You may also upload your own content to feature your logo, allowing for all of your designs to be uniformed. Text boxes are also available, with different fonts and effects available to experiment with. Additionally, you can also generate a QR code, which is a useful tool to use.
Once you feel like your design is perfect and you’re ready to post on Instagram, head to the top corner and click ‘Share’, where you can directly share the design with other people for review or share the link for others to edit.
